Where it all began
The journey of 4 Cultures began in 2022, when Dub Daze introduced Pulheriya to IZ-OK during a production session, sparking an instantaneous creative synergy. This initial collaboration quickly flourished, notably on the track “Plus” with Cashpoint, where Pulheriya’s contributions—backing vocals, melody composition, and keyboard performance—left a lasting impression. The producer duo, captivated by her talent and the unique dynamic she brought to their work, embraced the collaboration with unmatched enthusiasm. Their music, from the very start, showcased this newfound partnership.
Despite geographical distances and the necessity to collaborate remotely, this trio discovered a powerful and cohesive workflow. Their collective efforts led to the formation of “4 Cultures,” a name that celebrates the diverse backgrounds and musical influences each member contributes. This project not only highlights their individual roots but also symbolizes the unity and elegance inherent in music, transcending physical barriers to forge something distinctive and groundbreaking.
From East to West
4 Cultures stands as a vibrant celebration of diverse musical worlds, showcasing the power of international collaboration and creative fusion. At the core of this project is Pulheriya, originally from Russia, whose classical training as an opera singer and expertise in composition and songwriting infuse our sound with a unique depth and harmony. Joining her is IZ-OK, a producer born in Germany with Greek roots, whose productions are filled with the melodies and rhythms of the 80s and 90s, reflecting his broad appreciation for Greece and a strong connection to the hip-hop community. Completing the trio is Dub Daze, a versatile Open Format DJ also from Germany, with Romanian heritage, known for his wide-ranging sets that cover genres from Hip-Hop, Soul, and R&B, to House, Techno, Dub and beyond. Together, since 2022, we’ve started on a journey to merge our distinct musical backgrounds into a single artistic vision, transforming catchy musical sketches into refined musical art forms that transcend the conventional boundaries of genre.
